SPBA received an award on 4 November 2014 from the Maritime Port Authorities

award Award

The SPBA received an award on 4 November 2014 from the Maritime & Port Authorities’ CEO Mr Andrew Tan in recognition of our support & contribution towards the ongoing Safety@Sea campaign launched this year.

The campaign was initiated to promote a culture of safety amongst the shipping & boating communities plying the Port of Singapore. There are many stakeholders in this community and many facets of dissimilar activities that occur daily in our waters.

The best way to promote safety is to have all the stakeholders take ownership and share this responsibility. Meeting face to face helps build mutual respect, trust and cooperation.
